About the U.S. Consulate in Winnipeg
The U.S. Consulate in Winnipeg was formally opened by Ambassador Paul Cellucci
in December, 2001. Our primary functions are to promote business and trade
relationships between the United States and Canada that will facilitate bilateral
economic growth, and to work with Manitobans on political and economic issues
of mutual interest.
The U.S. Consulate in Winnipeg represents the U.S. Government in the Province
of Manitoba. The mission is headed by the Consul, who is the senior accredited
representative of the U.S. Government in Manitoba.
